Expanding my horizons

I can not believe that the summer is almost over. In a month it'll be back to school! I am nervous I am a county aba therapist who tags along to school as behavior support! Last year was a breeze loved the teacher she was amazing! Fell in love with all the kids to! This year will be at another school with older kids , I'm unsure why but I'm really nervous! I'm excited becuase in January hopefully a new door will open for me! I am really praying not only for myself but the oppurtunity it will bring to kids with Autism in Ohio! Including one of my baby brothers. Speaking of he's now 6 foot tall and towers over me, but he will always be my baby brother. I will always remember being 9 and sitting with him in a huge recliner, he opened his eyes! I at the time thought that babies were like puppies and it took time for them to open their eyes. I was sooooo excited, then my mom bursted my bubble and said he's opened his eyes several times! I love Nick a bunch he's been such an inspiration to my life, he's such a happy go lucky person, his love is so pure, and he doesn't judge. I love Nick and to me he will always be the baby brother I couldn't wait to have. I remember the day mom and dad told me that I was going to be a big sister! We were on our way to W.V. And right after they told me we stopped for a treat and gas. I ran in and told everyone in the gas station! My brothers have not disapointed me! I have been a very proud older sister for 14 years now! Jacob is my youngest brother! He's now a 12 year old and is very overprotective over me! He really has grown up to! He towers over me too! I will never forget the day when he was 8 and he came sat on my bed and asked me where to buy a girlfriend! So cute!!! Recently I also got a brother in law....he doesn't make me proud although I wish he would. He's the type of person I would call a slacker, but that's for another day! Sorry for the crazy post I'm typing it from my blackberry...one of the kids I work with his little sister calls them blueberries!!! Sooo cute!

My car the drama queen

I am the owner of a beautiful trailblazer that I love....but here lately its been a drama queen. By drama queen I mean the service engine light comes and go's as it pleases. It's been off for around a week when it out of nowhere pops back on this morning! Dear bloggy friends the irony of this is the fact that my dh is a mechanic and cars are his expertise. He is just baffled by the fact that the engine runs fine and all the maitenance is up to date. Believe me I get hounded every 3000 miles and it doesn't stop until I get the oil changed. I'm just praying it doesn't just all the sudden to be overly dramatic and break down on me while I am driving on the freeway!

Onto weekend plans! I have dinner plans with 2 of my best friends from 10th grade. Then I'm babysitting tonight, which is always fun! Saturday I have to work, only 4 hours. Usually I hate working Saturdays but this is dh's saturday to work at the dealership and I hate being home alone. Then were going grocery shopping! I find it really overwhelming so I'm glad he's coming with me! Sunday were going to church I want to try a new one in our new area! Then its off to Sunday dinner with my parents! I love weekends!

Note to self: get a backbone

Yesterday I went to a new female doctor (as Ruby would call it I went to The Christmas doctor.) At this appointment I didn't get a gift. She was a bit snooty and barely listened to a word a said. Needless to say I won't be going back to that particular Christmas Doctor! I have a baseball sized cyst on my right ovary! She didn't seem concerned with the fact that I am in pain all the time. Me being the doormat that I am didn't open my mouth to tell her otherwise!

love and marriage

So I am back married! so its been a while...I would say that marriage is agreeing with dh and I! I am so relieved its all over and I can have my life back! I miss wedding planning a little but, I dont want to go back to it! I love being a wife and having my own apartment! I am still not all the way unpacked but I am getting there slowly...very very slowly!

37 more days!

Until my wedding that is! I have been working so much on the wedding and at work lately I have barely had time to breath! I am starting to feel sick streps been going around the school hopefully I am not getting it. Or could it be stress? I cant think of any stress Im under lately you know moving and getting married all within the next month isnt stressful NO NEVER~! I am ready to have a vacation! I want to be on a beach somewhere where noone knows where I am. I hate being bothered I hate taking work calls after I have gotten home I hate it! I think after the wedding my phone will be getting turned off after a certian time every night!

My bridal shower and birthday were awesome! I got a ton of great stuff! We got almost everything we wanted. Loads of gift cards and I got to see family! Awesome weekend amazing time great family!

my clumsy fiance

Steven broke his leg on Monday at work. I feel awful for him I hate that hes hurting. I dont have much time to ever blog, but I feel its necessary to help with my stress. I am so tired of things happening. I feel like the past week has been one big huge horrible blur. With my dad being in the hospital and Stevens leg I feel like I cant catch a break. Oh well everything will work out and everything will be fine.

Ready for snow to be over!

This was our second snow day today! I love not having to go to school, but I had to watch four kids. I was so ready to pull out my hair. Anyway I was semi productive today and called pretty much every limo company in Columbus. Only to be told sorry its a prom weekend. Oh well who needs a limo. I am ready for the wedding to just be here! I am getting anxious and today marks 100 days until the wedding! I bought the shred just havent found the time to actually work out. My dad came home from the hospital today and is fine. Thanks for all the prays, we really appreciate them!

home sick again

I am starting to wonder when this chest cold is going to go away...I figure as long as I am taking sick time off of work I should be semi productive. I never have days off I am a work a holic. I have been working seven days a week for the past two years and I am not about to stop now. Eventhough I have a million things to do between the wedding and moving. I am looking at what little time I have left to get everything done and I must say I am getting a tad overwhelmed. Oh well this week has been stressful I had my best friend since 4th grade drop out of my wedding. I must say I was extremely sad Lakyn and I have been friends through so much, it just doesnt feel right not having her stand beside me. So I asked my grandma or mamaw as she likes to be called. Today is a year since my grandma got her double masc. We are very happy as a family! I am proud of her, this journey through cancer has not been easy. Well they are never easy. Right after Steven and I got engaged they found that the cancer had indeed spread. So a lot of family came to me asking me to move the wedding up just so my mamaw could be there! She will be there on May 9th Standing by my side as my beautiful, wonderful, amazing maid of honor.

Sick...

I usually never have time for stuff like this, but I am sick today. We have 108 more days until the wedding and I am getting excited, and nervous! I wouldnt say I have cold feet at all it's just I still have a lot of stuff to get done. I ordered invitations today so thats something I can cross off my to do list! yay!
